Grand Saint Bernard Pass
Morning : We cross the Alps one hour after departing Leysin on the Grand St. Bernard pass entering the Aosta Valley (Italy)



Morning in Aosta (before Torino) : Dion calls Alan and wishes him all the best for fathers day.. ! .
Midday : We visit Monaco and Monte Carlo.


Afternoon : A short stop in Villfranche-sur-Mer before getting to Nice >>> Evening : Arriving in Nice

2007 Sep 03: Exploring the French 'Côte d'Azur'
We drive from Nice via Antibes - Cannes - St. Raphael to St. Maxime
Morning : A short stop in the historic town of Antibes


Morning : Another short stop in Cannes with a walk arround the Cannes Film Festival Building
The red carpet was layed for Janette and Alan

Morning : After the ride along the coast between Cannes and St. Raphael

Afternoon : We recommend to spend time in Saint Maxime..!


Evening : Back in Nice







Sep04: Returning back to Switzerland
We drive from Nice via Italy - Southern Switzerland (Lugano) to Zurich
Morning : A drive along the italian coast thru tunnels and bridges to Genova and then up north to Lugano with its nicely decorated small shops.
Janette thinks its worth to photograph the electronic phone book..

Afternoon : Our way home over the St. Gotthard pass is very impressive... as the temperature of 27C (departing Lugano) dropped down 45min later to 0C at the altitude of 2091m
We experienced even little snowfall

Afternoon : From St. Gotthard (snowfall) pass down to Andermatt and further down to the 'wild' Schoellenen winding roads into the 'Willhelm Tell' area.
